For two days, DigiEcoQuarry (a project funded by the European Commission and led by ANEFA) has been under routine monitoring by the European Union. And, after these intense couple of days, we are very happy to say that the result of the exam could not have been better. In fact, it concluded with resounding success and earning commendations from both our Project Officer and external evaluator.
On the first day, progress across all work packages was meticulously explained and well-received during the review at ANEFA’s offices in Madrid. The presentations by every Work Package Leader showcased all DEQ‘s significant advancements, demonstrating our team’s dedication to meeting our important objectives.
The following day, we invited our guests to visit Valdilecha quarry (Cemex), one of the pilot sites involved in the project, so they could witness DEQ‘s developments firsthand and onsite. The valuable insights and contributions made by both reviewers enriched the discussion and further validated our progress.
In any case, we remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering the goals we set ourselves from the beginning and contributing to the EC’s aims. As leaders of the project, we don’t want to miss the opportunity to thank all the partners who came to Madrid and the whole Consortium for their brilliant work, willingness, and passion, which, at the same time, reaffirmed our own commitment to the project’s success. Let’s keep it rolling!
