One of the most important areas of our work involves the communication and dissemination of our activities and developments. Multimedia content is an essential tool for communicating complex information clearly and engagingly.
The DigiEcoQuarry project is committed to using multimedia content to communicate its findings and results in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. By using a variety of multimedia formats, the project will be able to reach a wide audience and raise awareness of the importance of sustainable quarry management.
This series of videos, amongst other materials, will be showcased at the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC)thanks to the invitation extended to DigiEcoQuarry by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) and the European Commission.
The latest videos produced by the communication team of the project include a couple of visits to one of our pilots, Valdilecha (Cemex Spain), by the ETSI Minas y Energía team (UPM) to test sound and video tools; the visit to the same pilot site from the officer assigned to the project by the European Commission in which some other solutions (GPS tracking developed by Abaut; the developing of drilling technologies by Sandvik and the advances in the fields of rock mass characterization tools, blasting and drilling technologies) were put to test.
