Time for a new episode of our Meet the Team series in DigiEcoQuarry. Today we want to introduce you to Pierre Plaza, R&D Programmes Director at Sigma AI, one of the members of the consortium behind this European Commission-funded project.

In the interview, Plaza explains the benefits of Digitalization and how Artificial Intelligence applications are being implemented in the DigiEcoQuarry project to improve the Quarry processes and business.

DigiEcoQuarry aims to design, develop, and validate in 5 pilot environments an Innovative Quarrying System (IQS) comprising sensors, processes, tools, and methods for data capture, processing, and sharing to provide integrated digitalized, automatic, and real-time process control for aggregates quarries.
