Today we have had the second meeting of the International Advisory Board (IAB) for DigiEcoQuarry. In this meeting, we have displayed the latest developments of the project and several key topics related to areas such as: communication, social acceptance, clustering activities, and local, national, and global policies affecting the project and the whole extractive sector.

One of the highlights of the meeting has been the use of surveys to gather attendees’ ideas on these topics. The survey results have provided us valuable information that will be used to improve the project and adapt to stakeholders’ requirements.

The IAB is an essential platform to ensure transparency, diversity, and stakeholder participation in the project. Today’s conversations and debates are an example of the project’s commitment to foster an open dialogue and collaboration with stakeholders in the extractive sector.

The IAB is a group composed of stakeholders, users, and experts in the aggregates sector. Its mission is to provide valuable external feedback and input in three key areas of the DigiEcoQuarry: validation of requirements; validation and scaling of the system; and transition to the market. The IAB is composed of important actors in the value chain of aggregates and related areas, mainly representatives of the EU/international organizations. The goal is to expand the project’s scope and maximize its global impact.

We are excited to share the progress of our project and look forward to the participation of all stakeholders in future IAB meetings!
