ITK Engineering GmbH was established in 1994 as “Ingenieurbüro für technische Kybernetik” and is an internationally operating technology company with customers in the automotive and aerospace industries as well as in building and medical technologies, motorsports, robotics, agricultural, mobile machinery and logistics.
In addition to tailored technical consulting and development services, the company offers turn-key systems in the fields of software engineering, embedded systems, model-based design and testing as well as control systems design, signal processing, computer vision and object detection always with a focus on safety and security.
2017 ITK has pioneered people and object detection with a visionary demonstrator approach – 3DTM (3-dimensional terrain mapping) at the RWE opencast mining site near cologne and at the Steinexpo exhibition.
ITK is partnering with a number of mobile machinery and agricultural OEMS when it comes to the definition of safety concepts and implementations for individual process optimisation steps. In doing this, the company’s goal is to inspire – on both human and technological levels – and to set new standards.
Role: Developer of H&S technologies within KTA5, Pilot in all Pilots #1 to #5. Interaction with H&S actors.
